The Innovation and Making Club of BITS Design School organized this workshop for students interested in exploring textile surface techniques, particularly tie and dye.
KNOWLEDGE GAINED
Students were introduced to the fundamentals of dyeing and learned both traditional and contemporary tie-and-dye techniques. They gained hands-on experience in preparing dye baths, practised 10 different tying methods, and created their tie-and-dye samples by the end of the session.
